As Founder of Marks Clearing & Grading and Co-Founder of MC&G Capital, Tyler brings a builder’s mindset, a farmer’s work ethic, and a relentless drive to every job. Faith, family, and grit aren’t just values—they’re how he does business.

Gregg Marks leads strategy, partnerships, and expansion across the MC&G family of brands. He joined his son Tyler in business in 2024, bringing decades of commercial real estate experience to the table. Known for his sharp business mind and steady leadership, Gregg plays a critical role in driving growth while keeping relationships and results at the center of everything we do.

JP Utz is the operational engine behind Marks, making sure every job runs smoothly from final bid to finishing punch list. With over $100 million in project management experience across private, commercial, municipal, and NCDOT work, he’s done it all. JP brings sharp strategy to both the field and the front end, playing a key role in MC&G Capital’s land deals. He knows how to read a site, plan for what’s coming, and line up the right moves before the first machine ever shows up.

With 25+ years as a CFO and CPA, Hunter Mason has guided companies through startups, growth phases, restructurings, and M&A. At the Marks Family Brands, he leads financial strategy, compliance, and operations across all business entities. He’s played a key role in structuring deals, streamlining operations, and helping companies scale with confidence.
