Marks Clearing & Grading is proud to be doing the groundwork on a project with real impact for our region. Prolec Energy recently broke ground on a new $140 million facility in Wayne County, North Carolina, a milestone celebrated by leaders from across the county, the state, and Washington.

Once complete, the facility will bring 330 new jobs to Wayne County and manufacture transformers that are essential to powering and strengthening the electrical grid across North Carolina and the nation.

As the site contractor, Marks is handling the groundwork that gets a project of this scale moving, the kind of high-impact, big-dirt work we’re built for.
