Overview

Demolition, handled as part of the site work.

When a structure stands where the site needs to go, Marks takes care of it. We schedule the asbestos inspection, coordinate any abatement, pull the permits, take the structure down and haul the debris off on our own trucks.

Because the same company handles the clearing and grading that follow, the next phase can start as soon as the last load leaves.

Questions

Demolition FAQ

Does Marks handle asbestos inspections before demolition?

Yes. Marks schedules the initial asbestos inspection before the demolition is scoped, and coordinates removal and abatement wherever it is required.

Who pulls the demolition permits?

Marks handles demolition permitting and confirms utility disconnects before crews mobilize.

What kinds of structures does Marks take down?

Buildings and outbuildings, barns, slabs, foundations and pavement. If it has to be gone before the site can be built, it is in scope.

Can demolition be part of a larger sitework package?

Yes. Demolition is often the first phase of a Marks turnkey project, with clearing, grading, utilities and paving following from the same company.
