Team Marks Volunteers with the Durham Rescue Mission

Team Marks spent a morning volunteering with the Durham Rescue Mission, portioning chili and helping prepare for their Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway.

It was a morning well spent giving back and working together.

The Durham Rescue Mission serves families across the Triangle, and the Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway sends kids into the new school year with the supplies they need. Getting an event like that ready takes a lot of hands and a lot of hours, and it’s all done well before the first family walks through the door.

We’re grateful for opportunities to serve alongside organizations making a difference for families throughout our community.

Marks builds in these communities. We clear the land, install the utilities, and build the roads that Triangle neighborhoods are built on. Showing up for the people who live in them isn’t a separate commitment. It’s the same one.

Faith, Family, Dirt means something in the field, and it’s the same thing in a kitchen on a Tuesday morning.

Thank you to the Durham Rescue Mission for the work you’re doing, and to the members of Team Marks who gave their morning to help.
