Marks Clearing & Grading Names Tim Clay Chief Executive Officer

We’re proud to welcome Tim Clay to Marks Clearing & Grading as our Chief Executive Officer.

Tim joins Marks after a career spent building teams, developing relationships, and delivering projects throughout Florida and the southeast. He was recently featured in the Triangle Business Journal’s People on the Move.

What he found here, in his own words, wasn’t a title. It was a company that had earned its reputation the hard way.

“Over the past few days, I’ve had the opportunity to spend time with the Marks team, and I’ve come away even more excited about what lies ahead,” Tim shared. “What stands out most is the pride people take in their work, the strong relationships they’ve built, and the commitment to doing things the right way.”

His commitment to the team is simple: invest in our people, strengthen our relationships with clients and industry partners, operate with integrity in every decision, and continue delivering exceptional results safely and efficiently.

Tim’s arrival is part of a broader build-out of our leadership team over the past year, following moves like John Dodd’s as VP of Commercial Operations and Justin Fanning’s as VP of Commercial Estimating. Strong projects need strong people behind them, in the field and in the office alike.
