We partner with the top wall builders in the market for the wall construction itself, and our team stays in the process from the first design conversation through as-builts.
Our role is hands-on, not administrative. We are involved in the initial design, we handle the permitting, and we set the layout. We haul in the backfill, run the backfill operations, and grade behind and around the wall as it rises. We manage the schedule between trades, hold the quality control, and carry the wall through final completion and as-builts.
What Marks actually does on a wall
A wall is not a standalone item. It is earthwork, drainage, access, and sequencing wrapped around a structure. Here is the part we own.
Initial Design
We are in the design conversation from the start, working the wall into the grading plan instead of around it.
Permitting
We handle the permitting and the agency coordination that comes with a structural wall on a development site.
Layout & Coordination
We set the layout, sequence the wall against the rest of the site, and keep every trade pointed at the same schedule.
Hauling In Backfill
Our own trucks bring in select backfill and drainage stone, so material shows up when the wall crew needs it.
Backfill Operations
We run the backfill lifts and compaction behind the wall as it rises, to spec, with our own equipment and operators.
Grading
We grade behind, above, and around the wall so drainage works and the finished slopes tie cleanly into the site.
Construction Management
We manage the schedule between trades and hold quality control through the entire construction process.
Completion & As-Builts
We carry the wall through final completion and deliver the as-builts, closing the loop the same way we opened it.

Walls are one of the heavier costs on a site. During preconstruction we look hard for chances to value engineer them out of the design when the site allows it, rebalancing cut and fill before the wall ever gets priced.
